Resources for Reuse
Enviro Green Salvage is a non-profit that brings sustainably minded practices to deconstruction of dwellings and buildings are matched by its positive environmental impact. Deconstruction enables thousands of tons of materials to be diverted from municipal landfills and used to enhance environments where we live, work, and play.
We integrate multiple construction practices, demolition, innovative deconstruction for retrieving materials, provide jobs, reducing waste, and working with partnerships with similar goals is at the hub of our business activities.
Deconstruction can be time consuming, labor intensive and tedious. Elements that are too large to stay intact must be removed in pieces and reassembled later. We engage different trades: carpenters, plumbers, heating and cooling specialist, windows and doors professionals, electricians, appliance installers, movers, and operators of demolition equipment. Whether the construction elements are used to save money or maintain the character of another time period, repurposed elements are worthy of preserving.
RELATIONSHIPS WITH NON-PROFITS
Relationships with other non-profits with similar purpose are a critical element in the distribution of deconstruction materials. Working with approved non-profits including thrift stores allows us to extend our reach into other communities with low-income families, homeowners on a budget, victims of natural disasters, veterans groups, and trade schools, collectors, and contractors.
